I do

For thirteen years I have been devoted to one thing: restoring quality of life to people struggling with lymphedema, lipedema and other forms of chronic swelling.

I was the first in Serbia to bring the original Földi method, the gold standard in treating lymphatic conditions. I trained at the original Földi clinic in Germany, where this method has been developed and taught since 1981.

I have written three brochures on lymphedema, available online free of charge, and I am co-author of the textbook Lymphedema – Modern Therapy.

Common questions

Is it lymphedema
or lipedema?

Lymphedema

Swelling caused by a disorder in the function of the lymphatic vessels. Positive Stemmer's sign, the top of the foot is involved, risk of erysipelas.

Without therapy it progresses through stages. Early recognition changes everything.

Stages and treatment →

Lipedema

Bilateral, symmetrical swelling from the hips to the ankle, almost exclusively in women. The top of the foot is never involved, Stemmer's sign negative, tender to the touch, bruises easily.

There are four stages. It is often confused with obesity, but it is not the same.
